The Greater Bangor Area Toys for Tots is dedicated to helping supplement toys for famiies in need at Christmas time. Th US Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots have been providing toys to families since 1947 and has a strong dedication to continuing this for many, many more years to come.
The Marine Corp Toys for Tots Foundation is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) tax exempt not-for-profit charity, is the authorized fund raising and support organization for the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots program. The Foundation provides support to Marine Corp Reserve units, Marine Corp League detachments, and approved local community organizations in accordance with a memorandum of understanding with the Commander, Marine Forces Reserves, who directs the Toys for Tots program from his headquaters in New Orleans, Louisiana.
